Season 1 — Kord Breach

A season is a separate character with a limited lifespan: its own quest, hideout and level progress, its own economy, and modifiers you pick yourself. The first season, Kord Breach, has been running since 3 August 2026.

Below is how the season works right now: the numbers are read from game client data, and patches can move them.

How a season works

A seasonal PMC is a separate character, not a mode switch on the one you already have. You start it from scratch and play it alongside your usual PVP and PVE characters.

  • Quests, hideout, level and stash all start from zero — your PVP and PVE progress stays untouched.
  • The season has its own economy: flea prices, trader stock and trading volumes start with a clean slate, and we track them separately from PVP and PVE.
  • Personal modifiers are picked before the character is created and stay with it for the whole season.
  • A season is time-limited: it runs its term and is replaced by the next one.

Personal modifiers

Modifiers are traits your seasonal PMC lives with for the entire season. Positive ones cost points, negative ones grant them, and a character can only be created with a balance of zero or above: a strong perk has to be paid for with an inconvenience.

Some of them change the whole game: no flea market at all, hideout crafts that don't need the found-in-raid status, faster crafting. Season-wide modifiers apply on top of your personal set — those affect everyone.

Battle pass: documents instead of experience

The season pass doesn't run on experience. You carry TerraGroup documents out of raids and pay with them for rewards — every reward has its own price in documents of specific types.

  • The pass has 12 pages; a reward on page four, for example, costs 4 user + 3 technical + 2 financial documents and 1 personnel file.
  • The next page opens once you have claimed enough rewards on the current one — between two and four.
  • How many documents you can find per day is capped, and the counter resets every 24 hours: 25 on a seasonal character, 15 in regular PVP, 10 in PVE.
  • Ten documents can also be exchanged for a Black Division gear crate.

What's inside

  • 25 customization rewards — clothing and the look of your PMC.
  • 10 TarCoin payouts, 50 to 150 coins each.
  • 11 item rewards.
  • 12 trader assortment unlocks — new offers that stay available for the season.

TerraGroup documents

Documents are the currency of the battle pass. Eight types are found in raids, each map holds its own two types — and no more than three of each per raid.

  • They can't be brought into a raid, only carried out — up to ten at a time.
  • They have no market: documents can't be listed on the flea market and no trader buys them, so a document only has its base price of 10,000 ₽.
  • The ninth type — Classified documents — doesn't spawn in raids at all: you buy it for TarCoin in the Expansion Hub, and it stands in for any other type when you're one document short of a reward.

Maps are listed from item descriptions and raid spawn limits in the game client — BSG can reshuffle them in a patch.

TarCoin and the Expansion Hub

TarCoin is the season currency. It comes from battle pass pages — ten payouts across the twelve pages — and is spent in the Expansion Hub.

The most useful purchase is Classified documents: they replace a document of any type, so a page doesn't stall because of the one map that refuses to hand over the paper you need.

Quests and traders

The storyline is 10 chapters, each split into smaller tasks inside. On a seasonal character you go through them from the very beginning, same as every other quest.

Traders no longer hand out tasks in long chains: their quests open in stages — finish enough tasks of the current stage and the next batch unlocks all at once. On the quest card we show this as a quest group with a counter.

The season on Tarkov-Market

  • SEASON is a third game mode next to PVP and PVE: switch it in the header and the whole site — quests, hideout, item tracker — follows your seasonal PMC. Seasonal characters come with PRO.
  • Season prices, volumes and turnover are collected separately, so you can compare them with PVP and PVE in the economy section.
  • Modifiers are stored on the seasonal PMC: you pick them when creating it, and a set can be put together in advance on the perks page — the draft moves into the character.

The numbers on this page — pass costs, daily caps, spawn limits — are read from game client data and updated when patches change them.
