Arena BattlePass
Every reward of the Escape from Tarkov: Arena battle passes — seasons and the paid tactical maps — with its level, price in Battle Points and a mark for what Ref sells in the main game.
Seasons
A season pass is free and runs about half a year. Rewards are paid for with Battle Points earned from pass levels and operational tasks; the next page of rewards opens only after at least 3 rewards are claimed on the current one.
Tactical maps
A tactical map is a paid expansion bought on the Arena website. Its rewards are paid for with tokens from map challenges — 5 tokens of any type exchange for 1 token of your choice.
Crates
An Arena crate opens only inside the Arena and its contents drop at random. Everything except weapon camouflages and tactical clothing later goes on sale at Ref — for the account that pulled the item out of the crate.
How Arena rewards reach the main game
Unlocked tactical clothing shows up in the main game right away. Everything else except weapon camouflages goes on sale at Ref — but only for the account that unlocked the reward in the pass.
That is why I mark such offers on the site: on the item page and in barter lists they carry the «Require Arena BattlePass» note, so a barter you cannot buy is not counted as available.
