Terms of Service for Tarkov-Market.com and Tarkov-Pilot

Tarkov-Market.com ("Tarkov-Market", "Tarkov-Pilot", "the Service", "we", "us") is a project created and maintained by a single developer - ggDiam.

By using Tarkov-Market.com, including its Google Drive integration and related features (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Please also review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your data, including access tokens and parsed file information.

1. Description of Service

Tarkov-Market provides tools to help players of Escape from Tarkov track in-game item locations and manage data via cloud synchronization. One feature allows users to connect a Google Drive folder to automatically sync file updates and display parsed coordinate data on interactive maps.

This includes both a desktop application (Tarkov-Pilot) and a web-based version integrated with Google Drive. Users may choose which setup they prefer.

Relationship Between Tarkov-Pilot and Tarkov-Market

The Google Drive integration for Tarkov-Market uses an OAuth application registered with Google under the name "Tarkov-Pilot". This is the same project as Tarkov-Market and refers to the desktop and cloud-based tools developed by the same individual.

Tarkov-Pilot is the technical name of the application used to securely connect your Google Drive account to Tarkov-Market's services. When you grant permission via Google's authorization screen, you are authorizing the exact same service you access at tarkov-market.com.

This naming reflects the origin of the tool as a desktop companion app ("Tarkov-Pilot"), while Tarkov-Market serves as the web interface and central hub for related features.

2. User Responsibilities

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your Google account.
• Ensuring that any files uploaded to your monitored Google Drive folder comply with applicable laws and do not contain malicious content.
• Understanding that misuse of the Service (e.g., uploading false data, spamming, attempting to exploit the system) may result in suspension of access.

3. Google Drive Integration

To enable folder monitoring, you grant Tarkov-Market limited access to your Google Drive metadata via OAuth 2.0 with the scope:

This grants read-only access to file and folder metadata (names, IDs, timestamps), but not file contents. You can revoke this access at any time via your Google Account permissions page.

We use Google Drive Webhooks to detect changes in your specified folder. File names are parsed to extract player coordinates to show location on TM website maps.

4. No Warranty / As-Is Basis

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We make no guarantees regarding uptime, accuracy of coordinate parsing, or compatibility with future versions of Escape from Tarkov.

5. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall the developer of Tarkov-Market be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

You acknowledge that use of the Service is at your own risk.

6. Prohibited Uses

• Use the Service for illegal, harmful, or abusive purposes.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or gain unauthorized access to backend systems.
• Distribute malware or upload files designed to disrupt the service.
• Use automation or bots to abuse APIs or webhook endpoints.
• Impersonate others or misrepresent affiliation with Battlestate Games or Google.

7. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. Due to the nature of being a solo-developed project, support timelines may vary.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may terminate or restrict your access if you violate these Terms or engage in behavior that harms the integrity of the system.

Upon termination or revocation of Google permissions, your stored tokens and folder references will be deleted within a reasonable timeframe (typically within 7 days).

9. Intellectual Property

All code, design, and branding of Tarkov-Market are owned by the developer ggDiam. “Escape from Tarkov”, “Tarkov”, and related content are trademarks of Battlestate Games. This service is not affiliated with or endorsed by Battlestate Games.

Use of the Service does not transfer any intellectual property rights to you.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

11. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Tarkov-Market, including connecting your Google Drive account, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service.
