Halloween 2026

Halloween began on October 29 with patch 1.3.0.0. An outbreak from the Lab has spread across Tarkov; the location selection screen shows infection levels.

Infected civilians, lab technicians and PMCs attack with melee weapons and pistols. The Virus effect briefly muffles hearing and drains hydration; it lasts until extraction or death. Infected Tagilla appears in Infected Factory and Infected Lab.

The first quests investigate the outbreak. Later, a vaccine shipment creates a choice: deliver it for Skier or hand it to Therapist. These two tasks are mutually exclusive.
